I'm Tauree ( /tore•ree/ ), a product designer based in New Jersey.

My journey through design is a bit unorthodox. When I was in community college studying fine art, I took a Communications class and loved how much it intersected with sociology and psychology.

Little did I know that making connections with others on campus and learning about different cultures would influence the way I approach art as well.

These experiences showed me how much I enjoy finding new ways to connect with others and make positive impacts in their lives, which is the same way I tackle the design process.

What do I do?

I create, communicate, and collaborate.

That's always been the way I describe my work, no matter what type of job I have had. From food service to freelance design to healthcare, all of my jobs have involved speaking directly to customers; and through these interactions, I lead with empathy, discover their needs, gather feedback, and come up with solutions to their problems. This is my design process as well, and I have delivered high quality experiences for others as a result. I will always find a way to help my team, solve a problem, or find an answer. To summarize my personality, I am perceptive, self-motivated, and resourceful.

But to summarize my skillset, here's what I do best:

  • User Research

  • Wireframing

  • Prototyping & Testing

  • Problem Solving

  • Visual Art & Design

If you'd like to see what I have done in the past, here's a chronological list of my collective experiences and skills gained over a period of time:

When I have free time...

I'm probably in the kitchen trying out a new recipe and having my partner help. I love cooking! (But baking, not as much. I don't like all of the measuring) Cooking is my love language.

Listening to music and making new playlists is also fun! Life always needs a soundtrack, wouldn't you agree?

Either that, or I'm playing Nintendo Switch. (90% handheld mode, 10% docked) Mario Kart gets played a lot. (I'm literally allergic to bananas so please don't throw them at me if you get them in the item box.)
